When should I see a provider about my symptoms?
If you are experiencing symptoms of a sickness and you’re not sure what to do, reach out. Many upper respiratory infections (URIs) and gastrointestinal upsets (nausea, diarrhea, vomiting) can be treated yourself. However, if your symptoms persist and you are not sure what to do, we want to hear from you early before it gets worse overtime. Call your provider or schedule an appointment at one of our clinics.
What should I do when I’m sick?
- If you have a minor injury, use the R.I.C.E. formula: Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation
- If your sickness or injury is steadily getting worse, call your provider or schedule an appointment.
- If you are experiencing flu symptoms, do not wait. Instead, call your provider or schedule an appointment. The flu should be treated within 2-3 days of symptom onset.
