What our patients say

Madelyn Dooley

Madelyn Hebert Dooley is a native of Mandeville, Louisiana where she graduated from Mandeville High in 2000. Upon receiving her high school diploma, she moved to Lafayette, Louisiana where she pursued her degree in Anthropology in 2004 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

She spent some time working for the United State Forestry Service in Alexandria, Louisiana exploring the past cultures of those that inhabited the Kisatche National Forest.

She got married and started a family raising two beautiful children, Gillian and Liam. She loved her career as an RN at Lafayette General giving care to patients in the cardiac care unit, post anesthesia unit, and intensive care unit and, in 2012, decided to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner.

She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2014 and remained loyal to her Lafayette General working six years in pulmonary and critical care. In 2017, tragedy struck her family with the loss of her husband, Jason. In 2020, while transitioning from pulmonary to cardiology, she was introduced to her current husband, Kearn, who shares a passion for helping others as a minister of Christ.

He helped Madelyn to incorporate the teachings of Christianity into both her personal and professional life, and together, they continue to touch many lives through their small group teachings having helped many out of addictions and setbacks to find their way back to God.

Madelyn enjoys discovering more functional, holistic, and faith based approaches to treating patients by ultimately getting to the root cause of disease and promoting a positive healthy life through educating her patients and encouraging small lifestyle changes.
