JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:·
- Perform Echocardiograms, Carotid, ABI Screenings, AAA Screenings, Venous, Arterial, Abdominal, Thyroid and Soft Tissue Ultrasounds to the best of your ability and follow company protocols.
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Obtain proper documents for billing purposes
- Write preliminary Ultrasound Reports
- Instruct patients regarding examinations and be able to provide patients educational information when requested
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of ultrasound equipment.
- Inform supervisor when ultrasound equipment needs maintenance or when ultrasound equipment needs to be purchased
- Be able to acquire and maintain working relationships with clients and build relationships with new clients
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years experience is preferred
- Completion of studies at an accredited ultrasound school in general, vascular, and cardiac modalities
- If studies not completed in all modalities, must be willing to cross-train
- ARDMS or CCI Registry Vascular Ultrasound. Eligibility will be considered
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work independently
- Have valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
- Must be willing to travel within a 60-mile radius
- Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
- Must be able to use portable ultrasound machines and equipment
HOURS AND COMPENSATION:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Monday – Thursdays 8-5, Fridays 8-12
- Hourly Pay based on prior experience
- Position is in a mobile unit
